WEEK 4 ACADEMY

GSMM Team – Please keep me posted on Mile High Pitch Application, Pitch deck edits, and sales sheet this week. Academy weekly post to facebook group below.

Hey Academites,

In week 4, I finally experienced hard burnout between managing client projects, strategic partnership/sales opportunities, meetings with CEO Advisors about my personal use of time with GSMM, and The Academy for 31 days of straight work all day every day for a total of 400 hours completed. I have never worked this many entire hours over the course of a month in my entire life in any job combined with Education. My mindset is there, but even my COO and friends told me that I needed to recharge this week seeing me worn down. I went hiking in Colorado with my friends Saturday to disconnect and before I knew it, I found myself accidentally submerged in a frozen lake. Luckily, my friend was there to save my life and prevented me from getting hyperthermia.  I also experienced one of my client’s father passing away and a murder shooting outside of my downtown Denver Dojo that saw 23 cops and an ambulance. It reminded me that sometimes life happens and no matter how much I’ve been beaten down this year I’m still alive and there are people in my life that love me. Each day is a gift and even if I can’t get everything done I need to scale to be a successful company right now, I’m still alive and fighting. I called my mom on Sunday and told her I loved her, started talking to my friends and team again after two weeks of no weekly calls, and sent a gift to our client who lost his father. Of course, I’m all about building the automated funnel and redesigning the entire website, but week 4 taught me to be mindful of my health and my personal life as well. Here are my updates this week and would love to see any comments on this post if you find something of value that I shared:

  1. General Pitch Deck Finalized by GSMM team with new business cards. Our team is currently working on an application for us this upcoming week to the Mile High Pitch 2019 with this new pitch deck.
  2. I pitched a 50% off our first insurance sales lead, featured post to our 20K social media fans, and having the testimonial on our website for our first testimonial, but the client wants to see more sales and is scared about the video. I’m going to touch base with my Business Development Manager again this week with no video testimonial still. They did, however, tell me they converted a sale from a lead we generated them in June and that they wanted to re-sign again with us in a pay per performance model.
  3. I engaged in a few Academy Facebook group posts this week, but still need to be better about this. I was happy to catch the calendar post about calls because apparently I’ve been missing calls from the Academy since I joined. My schedule is jam-packed this week, but I hope to attend at least a funnel review call this week.
  4. I finished my Rapid Fire Facebook test 🔥🔥🔥last week and the results were 3 message responses reaching 2,139 people with 2,579 impressions at a cost per lead of $21.94 for a total ad spend of $65.83.
  5. Our Business Development Manager submitted our new sales sheet design to our designer, but I haven’t heard back anything yet. I hope to see the first version this week.
  6. I had a breakthrough with our biggest client’s YouTube Channel finally with Google Video Discovery Ads using a custom affinity audience that generated 76,400 views increasing +512 YouTube subscribers! I broke all records for their YouTube channel in history last week and you know what…a job well done was said to me. I am the one! I sent the client the meme I created of me in the matrix holding youtube when I broke through 😁
  7. I have completed 41 lessons so far in the portal, 9 units in the Facebook group, and read about 60 posts in The Academy Facebook group.
  8. I worked on the landing pages, portfolio work, and site speed of my website for 10 hours this week.
  9. Our facebook insights numbers continue to increase across the board with consistent content, fans, and engagement.
  10. I paid my entire team first last week for payroll, my mom, and my car note to keep it that was three months late. One of our clients is late on a 3K payment so the funnel is on hold until I have payment, but I did upgrade our website to the agency bundle for Astra pro so we can get the schema and make sure our website is the best website on the planet!
  11. The automated funnel 🌪️mentions a ton about click funnels and I have never used it. Are their not training videos on how to just build the automated funnel with WordPress? I feel like I can build this without Clickfunnels, but want to do what is best. My head hurts from trying to get through the automated funnel section last week. A lot to take in so I’m hoping a call will help with someone in the Academy that will help. The second week in a row I keep saying funnel will launch, but the more I get into the science of the process, the more I’m not ready.

Tell someone you love ❤ them this week for me Academites!
