LAA LEGACY TRIVIA
1) Local sheriff Angel Ortiz started the LAA from the trunk of his car in the early 1970s. He saw a need for humanitarian support, interpreting, employment assistance, and transportation to appointments. Ortiz and Stratton Frank officially founded the LAA in 1972.
